Travel Info how many islands consist of Trinidad Tobago? Travel Tips Trinidad and Tobago consist of 2 island. They are very much different cultural wise but very much the same in togetherness. Trinidad: The centre of atraction for business, economic development, and outragous nightlife. If you are looking for the typical caribbean island for vacation resort forget Trinidad. I mean that in a nice way. While we are a friendly and at most times loving people we are not going to serve you hand and foot and say things like "yes sir" or "yes madame" like we in school. If you want to have the best party lime (lime means hangout) and let loose, to an extent, then Trini is the play for you. On any given weekend you could party from Thursday night till Monday morning non-stop. Oh! don't forget the Maracas lime on Saturday or Sunday. Come with a few bucks in your pocket and is fun all the way. Tobago: The ideal vacation spot for Europeans, but we Trini's, and Americans have fun there too. The island is your vacation spot with the tourist like atmosphere. The food is the best when you are not accustomed to hot food and the beaches have the clearest water you will ever see. Night life is relaxed, but liming with a local you can get to all the spots. So if you looking for relaxation then head to Tobago. If having fun to the max is your intension then it is Trinidad. You could also get a little of both by boating between the islands for as little as $15 US. Have fun!!! Others Two Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad is the bigger of the two islands and its main source of income comes from that of oil (because of great natural oil resources). Tobago is the smaller of the two islands and its main source of income is from that of tourism. Most business transactions and family life is on the island of Trinidad, although Tobago is great to settle and do business as well. Both Trinidad and Tobago are very diverse. During the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, an influx of people from Britain, India, China, Africa, Spain, the Middle East, and other countries settled on these islands. The British ruled Trinidad for a very long time, until they were forced to declare independence. Now, Trinidad and Tobago is self-governed. As there are so many people of varying ancestries, we have merged our ancestors' cultures and practices together to make a very unique Caribbean culture. You will expect to celebrate all holidays and festivities there, including that of Divali (a Hindu religion and festival), Christmas, Eid (a Muslim religion and festival), and more! I was born and raised in Trinidad, so I pretty much know a lot about my islands. Message me if you would like to learn more! |
