Weather in Tobago in August???????? |
Travel Info Really, really want to go to Tobago in August but am worried that the rainy season will be really rainy. Has anyone visited Tobago in August if so what was it like?? Travel Tips I vacation in Tobago every August (i live in trinidad).... the weather tends to be slightly better than that in trinidad during the rainy season (june - dec). you will get sunny and beautiful mornings, overcast around noon and maybe some quick light showers in the afternoon. it gets really muggy and sticky with the rain and sun alternating so have a plan for your hair! evenings usually clear up and if it does rain, it's while you are sleeping anyway. enjoy tobago....it's beautiful no matter what the weather! Others I have been to the Caribbean at this time of year on many occasions and although it rains frequently it doesn't last long,but it is the hurricane season and you could be unlucky.The worst we had was a tropical storm I was there in late Aug 06 and the weather was great - it was hot but not unbearable. I read in today's paper that there's record heat in the country though, so who knows if there will be much rain then. And George Bush say global warning not happening....steups. |
