Yes Trinis are very friendly but like everywhere else be careful. 2b honest in my anzwer, 3 words can answer ur question... d0-it-urself as simple as that... d0in ya hw onlyn isnt the reezun y answerz was created...... (i hup u noe dat) Here are some links for you: http://www.visittnt.com/ http://www.historictrinidad.com/... All I can say is growing up there tourists were always treated very nice and friendly, of course I'd say the best time to visit would be carnival but not everyone is into that sort of thing. And the same rules apply to being careful there as if you were to go anywhere else. Happy honeymooning! I haven't been to Trinidad/Tobago in a few years but I found it to be very friendly. We went the week after Carnival and were able to visit one of the local malls where the costumes from Carnival were on display. Very pretty! We also did a couple of island tours that were really fun. We flew to Tobago for a day and wished we had more time to spend there. If I were to go back, I'd take two or three days at Tobato and shorten my Trinidad stay. |
