Travel Info and had the power to change any ONE thing or area in our country, what would you change and why? Travel Tips i would change the way people think; their attitude to one another and to thesurrounds . everyone says tnt is a nice place but yet everday there is some sort of crime, wether it be murder, robbery or kidnapping. we need to think more positve with respect and love for one another, not only for carnival or some public holiday, but all the time. Others if we could change the attitude of "well whatever nah is trinidad" and protest more as a people against what is wrong, it will go a long way towards changing things here. trinis in general are too complacent with mediocrity. All the stupid people ........... Self explanatory i would probably change the violence. the crime rate on Trinidad has gone up wayyyy too far over the years... I would change the crime and poverty in Trinidad. Because crime is taking a serious toll on the government and the freedom of society. Poverty because it would bring up the standard of living . I would change our education system. It needs to be more evolutionary and modern, so that it encourages persons to think, ask questions, know their rights as human beings and as citizens so that big business, foreigners and most especially, local rum and roti politicians cannot pull the wool over our eyes as a people. We have allowed these people to get away with murder because we are passive and we are passive cause we do not recognise our power as a collective. And we are ignorant of this power because we are under-informed. And this is why we can have pastors denouncing a gay artiste instead of dealing with the REAL issues in this country. I would love my people, from very early in their development, to understand what it means to be a Trini, and a Trini beyond Carnival and fetes. Trinidadians way of thinking, stop constantly being fooled by politicians. |
