Best place to stay in Tobago? |
Travel Info Anyone have a recomendation for a place to stay in tobago? I've checked out some places online, but i'd love to get a review from people who've actually stayed at any place that you are recommending. Travel Tips If you want to spend some money (it's really worth it though) try Tobago Plantations - I stayed at one of the villas there. Close enough to Bon Accord and the rest of the Crown Point/Store Bay area. A little more affordable is Kariwak Village. Once again this was answered a few months back and this is the answer i gave - Best Answer - Chosen By Voters Definitely Kariwak Village - Kariwak Village was the hotel of choice for me while in Tobago. Affordable, accessible to the airport - you can walk there - and of course a 10 minute walk to Store Bay where you can pick up the boats to go to the reef. PS - there are many activities at the hotel as well. Others Stonehaven Villas A Peaceful elegant place. Each Villa with it ammenties are sure to satisfy anyone. Each villa is arranged so you have an unobstructed view of the ocean. The grounds are kept immaculate. The service is excellent. The staff could not be more frendly and helpful. The club house resturant 's chef will make you any meal that you could want, have it served on your private verranda in your villa or dine at the club house with its grand view of the carribean. Viola's. It is about a 5 - 8 minute drive from the airport and it is opposite Hilton Plantations. The accomodation is great. It is great for groups. The top floor apartments don't need AC. I remember asking the host how are we supposed to stay here in this heat. He opened the back door and the front windows and fresh air just flowed thro the apartment it was fantastic. There is a pool and a small store/check-in. The place is very reasonable and the area around the villas really is old school Tobago. What my friends and I like the best is that there is a bus stop and at night we turn it into a big Tobago lime. Check them out you wont regret it. |
