Growing up mammy always use to tell meh to get a country gurl, but nah I like them city/suburb gurl. Them is pressure, anyway we have the greatest accent out dey. Is only some Trinis doh like the accent and ashame of it.

Ah tell all yuh aready summer/dry season time is d greatest to get yuh laugh on in Trinidad. Yuh ha them who just fly over Miami and come back talking more yankee than the yankee. Now here is how I does mess them up. The first t'ing they go tell yuh is dat it just grow on them. Ask them how long dey in the States, and BAM yuh hit dem that you dey longer than they age and yuh still talking Trini.
