Travel Info This is when Bwee was around: Yuh know you're flying bwee when.... You get to the airport before the ticket counter staff Everybody is checking in suitcases the size of a refrigerator You can't get on board because somebody in front of you is trying to get a truck's chassis into the overhead compartment At least one passenger is accompanied by an armed Federal Agent You can only get the Punch to read and the centrespread features at least one of your flight attendants There is a sign that reads "DO NOT ASK FOR ANY MORE PILLOWS" Everybody is trying to figure out what the "Port of Embarkment" means Somebody hands a flight attendant a paper bag and asks her to "heat up dis pelau fi mi nuh baby" The person across the aisle brought their own breakfast of bake & shark Everybody breaks out into applause when the plane lands Everybody gets out of their seats before the plane stops moving The air hostess more vex than you if you tell them that you are cold & need a blanket Travel Tips yuh know yuh flying BWEE when yuh reach d airport 3:05 for ah 3:00 flight and yuh early cause the aircraft ent land yet!! allyuh know bwee ALWAYS late, but ah didnt used to complain cause i was sure that nothing ent going to happen to me on the flight, dey was safe like that. TS i would have you know, i still have ah conways bag somewhere home dey, ah see it d odda day when i was looking for something lol. On ah different note, ah have ah St. Lucian friend who lived in England for ah few years, tell meh she used to always fly Bwee when she going home lol. BA and dem other airlines used to be quiet quiet, and everybody whispering, and yuh bored no tail, but Bwee always had ah character, is laugh from take off to touch down. or like all'red say ah calypsonian or soca star who woulda be singing up ah storm, noise fuh soo. yuh ent have time to sleep. and of course the flight attendant vex at allyuh cause yuh walking up and down the aisle, and heckling she. The good ole days..... Others lol, dat funny and kinda true, would they really heat up stuff for you? i like de 2nd one too dis sound real familiar . . . . but i was on travelspan and guess whappen? Sparrow on board & bus out in song over the PA too bad i dont know nothin bout calypso. . . . JAH that was priceless. . . ah i miss bwee Wha 'bout everybody who leaving New York ha a Conway bag as a carry-on? lol...... that part wen everybody leave their seats before d plane reachs iz true..... lol which part u does get these things gual??? lol won't know never left Trinidad, take all yuh word for it. and where yuh does find these jokes? |
