How can someone travel to Tunisia without getting a plane? |
Travel Info I am getting married in Tunisia in September, but due to my dads illness (alzheimers) he is unable to fly. I do so want him to be at the wedding. So is there any way he can get there without flying? Travel Tips I drove there some years ago. You take your car across the ferry at Dover and then drive through France and Spain and cross the ferry at Algeciras. It took 8 days. Others You can overland, but it would be a vey long and tiring journey, September, around that region is still very hot and humid, there are ferries from Italy to Malta, then onto Tunisia, but as I say it's a long trip. There are car ferries from Gibraltar , Portugal and Italy check the Internet for times and prices, Italy is the shortest trip and Gibraltar is the longest drive life uni depends where your from Train under the Channel to Gibraltar. Boat across to Algeria. Train,Bus, Car (or Camel) to Tunisia. Best wishes....... I am sure you can get to most places across land/sea....am guessing it would be quite a journey though and a long one for your Dad. Hope you manage to get it sorted Best wishes |
