Help for Tunisia?

Hi

Im going to Tunisia in 4 weeks time for my holiday. Its my second time and cant wait, such a beautiful country. Il go there forever!! Anyway can anyone give me the key phrases such as Hello/Goodbye etc and how they are pronounced as I would love to be able to communicate to the people there in their mother tongue.

I live in Tunisia and speak fluent Arabic.

Tunisian Arabic is different from literal Arabic. Here are a few words to get you started (pronounced how they look. The 3 is used to accentuate the letter after it and make it longer sounding.):

Walla = Or
Wal藖l藖a = By God
Feinel bhar = Where's the beach?
Fein baiti = Where's my room?
Asala'ama = Hello
Bisla'ama = Good-bye
Birabbee minfadlik = Please
Shukran = Thank you
Na'am (Aye)= Yes
La = No
Ashnooa ahwalik? = How are you?
Labes elhamdulillah = Fine thanks
Sismik? = What's your name?
Ismi.. = My name is...
Fein...? = Where is...?
Emta...? = When is...?
In-sha Allah = God willing
Ana = I
Inta = you (male)
Inti = you (female)
Huwwa = he
Hiyya = she
Ahna = we
Jeaan = I'm hungry

Shaban = I'm full

Tunisians are fluent in French and use a lot of French in their dialect, so if you are fluent in French, or know some French words, you'll fare even better as they have replaced some Arabic words with their French counterpart.
