Tunis Can i get a train form Tunis to Sousse? if not what is the best way to go i hope to visit in September |
Travel Info Is there a bus or train how often do they run and how easy is it? Thanks heaps for your heip Phil Travel Tips You can take a train from Tunis to Sousse. They run pretty regularly, takes about 2 hours, and costs 7 dinars. You can also take a luage (long distance taxi). They leave as soon as they get a car full of people, takes one hour and a half, and will cost you 7 dinars. As far as comfort, they are about the same. Some luage's have air conditioning, some don't. Both are easy to take and easy to navigate. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. Source(s): Have been living in Tunisia 5+ years http://360.yahoo.com/jamie_hassen... Other Travel Tips yes, the train from Tunis to sousse is a great way to go. it is such a great view all the way, however do not be surprised if the train stops for lamb crossing! I know there's a train from the hammamet area to tunis, it may well go to sousse as well. the train ive been on was easy and seemed to run pretty often. i believe their train system is pretty good as its a remnant of french rule. French rule! get the F... out! Scuse my French. There is regular trains to Sousse, my friend. Ask where "Barcelona train station" is in Tunis capital city. It runs from there. Catch the "Direct" train to Sousse. Indirect train will take you there too but it stops every now and then. It will take you longer to get to Sousse. It's up to you if you want the train to stop so you can sightsee the cities. |
