Travel Info Everyone wants to trick you or to steal your money just when they see you're white. A taxy driver drove us 15 km more just so he can take more money. When we told him that we want to go by the sea when we return (that's the shorter way) he says 'OK' and we saved 5 euros. And everyone thinks they are soooo funny but their jokes are soooo lame. I am sooooo disappointed. Travel Tips That is really a shame. I was a Peace Corps volunteer there in the 80 and thought it was great. Tunisians definitely treat you differently when you are living there and speak Arabic. I found them to be incredibly hospitable people... but I think you are right about the lame jokes! Others sounds a bit like London or Paris that is NOT a question and if u dont like it dont go back. And the question is....? That is a comment, one that you should really give carefull thuoght.better to rephrase your comment to,like.eg; why are they like that? what led them to the stage were they are at now? Sorry ,I loved it there. There are bad people everywhere, but you shouldn't make your judgements based on their acts only. By having prejudice, you will harm yourself at the first place. And this is a HUGE and HORRIBLE PREJUDICE! |
