Where do i look and show much should i expect to pay monthly for a 1 or 2 bedroom house in Sousse, Tunisia? |
Travel Info I am moving to Tunisia in July with my boyfriend and i was wondering if anyone could help me and give me a rough idea as to how much i should expect to pay monthly for a 1 or 2 bedroom house/appartment in the Sousse area. If anyone is able to answer this would you also be able to give me advice on where we should look to find a property. Thank you! Travel Tips Hi Connie! Sousse is very big and it depends on where in Sousse you are looking, and what amenities you want your house/apartment to have. The more amenities, the higher the price. Do you want central heating or no? Do you want gaz du ville or gaz that you buy in a bottle? Do you want air conditioning or not? Do you want a great view or does it not matter? How good a neighborhood do you want to live in? What part of town do you want to live in? Do you want it furnished or unfurnished? All these play a factor in the price. First off, here is some conversion for you: 1TDN = 拢0.39, 拢1=2.536TDN 1TDN = 鈧?.58, 鈧?=1.721TDN 1TDN = $0.76, $1=1.312TDN http://finance.yahoo.com/currency... The cheapest you will find will be between 200-250TDN a month, and the most expensive will be about 600TDN a month. It's sad to say, but prices are ALWAYS higher during the summer because owners raise prices during this time. While we have people that will help you to find a place to live "Immobliers", they take a commission. My experience hasn't been good with them and I know others who have had bad experiences with Immobliers as well. Online also posts the highest prices, so I do not suggest checking there. My best suggestion is to look at the newspapers, postings on the small shops and in the markets, and just drive around. It it says "A LOUER" it means for rent. Call the number and inquire about the property. You are allowed to try to bargain with the price. The first house in Monastir that my husband and I lived in the owner was asking 500TDN a month. We talked the owner down to 350TDN a month. The main thing is to be considerate but not overly excited. If I can be of more assistance, please feel free to contact me. Good luck! Other Travel Tips this I can answer! for the high end you can except to pay about 300 euros. I know this because I am a fan of looking around the world on websites. just type in house for rent in Tunisia in the yahoo search engine, it has some great results. Infact I am too looking for a 1 Bedroom appartment in Tunis, with reasonble cost.. Could anyone help me out..?? Thanks in advance |
