What is it like to live in the city o Kayseri? |
Travel Info What is it like to live in the city o Kayseri? Travel Tips Do you mean you will be getting a job there? As a foreign woman, you won't necessarily get harassed (unless you're out by yourself after 9 pm), but do be prepared for plenty of stares. The city is both traditional, both in a religious sense as well as a political one--a friend of a friend who was teaching there once counted 124 pictures of Ataturk in her first-grade classroom. Central Anatolian food is heavenly. Pastirma, a savoury meat that is the predecessor of pastrami, and manti, lamb-filled tortellini-like pasta drenched in yogurt and garlic, are local specialities. Others i wouldn't want to live there. of course nice people there but a bit narrow minded i think. no offence In Kayseri most famous thing is (past谋rma ) pressed meat cured with garlic and other spices , preserve of dried meat. And It's also famous (mant谋 ) traditional Turkish food. Kayseri is named from roman emperor. That's all for me about Kayseri I was born in Kayseri,Its a nice city.陌f you have got enoug money in every where can find some place for having fun time.. I wouldn't wanna live in Kayseri unless I am offered a very good job with a good salary. There are frequent flights to Istanbul so I would probably try to get as many days off as I can to go to IST every 2-3 weeks or so.... Not a very interesting town really... i would never ever want to live there!!!!!! I wouldnt wanna live there.... i am sure its a nice place but what i have heard people are narrow minded and religious there... |
