Trip to istanbul, turkey?

need help.. i have a tight budget for this trip.. a birthday gift for my husband.. i need to know which hotel to stay.. a cheap one but nice (only for the purpose of sleeping.. hehehe).. because for the whole day i think we're going to tour the city.. a trip for 5 days. which one do you recommend... please include price per night.. contact no.. and location.. thanks!

I recommend Hanedan Hotel. We stayed there for 4 days in total and like the hotel very much. It is comfortable and neat. Paid 35E per night but that was winter rates. In summer it is 2X higher. It is at Sultanahmet and about 5 mins walk from Hagia Sophia and other attractions.

By the way, you d谋dn't say when you were coming but if it is in June then 陌 would strongly suggest getting tickets for the 陌stanbul music festival, especially for one of the concerts in Aya 陌rini. 陌 am going to see Julan Lloyd Webber there. The church is 1500 years old and the acoustics are perfect.
