WHY so many people always judge other people on physical criterions ? Why don't they respect fat people ? |
Travel Info I noticed that many people don't have a kind and fair attitude towards fat people, and sometimes they even speak with arrogance ...It's a lack of respect...And sometimes they don't even pay attention , which is also a lack of respect. For exemple when I say "Have a good day " to an employee in a store, he doesn't even answer...Etc,etc.. What can we do to educate people? Travel Tips always in the world there will be two categories of people good ones and bad ones we cant change that but we can make the numbers change! if you want to change world, do the little things you do go on dont stop dont make to others what you dont want others to do to you and never give up you ll meet some good people too! ps.Bird are u still here?? I though you were on your way to saudi arabia! Others It's not always about weight, but yes, some people can be cruel and judgemental. But sometimes those people in the stores dont talk to skinny people either. try suggesting a charity event, 拢/$ per pound lost etc> the workforce all join in etc! it is racism............people cannot tolerate fat people stuffing a burger or doughnut etc as we speak to them! it is so gross! end of! I was 15 stone and 12 pounds! That is huge, but i lost the weight, am now around 10 stone, without surgery. Encourage your fat mates to lose weight and being fit! you are what you eat! Its Because fat people are thought of as lazy and slow witted. Its a thin mans and womans world plain and simple. I dont feel this way myself but its true. i blame the media. they make it seem as if a person that is over weight has some terrible disease and that other people should should work their hardest not to get that way. i think that if the media started showing overweight people in a different light society would realize that we really are people too. we just have a little extra padding. which is good to have in case you fall a lot and that i do. maybe it isn't because of your weight, the employee might just have been rude or preoccupied. Keep in mind that almost everyone is a little judgemental, its part of our culture. as long as you and other overweight people are respectable and kind then maybe that social stigma will change. |
