Where are you going? I live in the south, and it was 40 C last week. Really, it's hell hot here at the moment!
Actually it depends on the area.South coasts of Turkey is really hot around 35 C.

if you are going to istanbul, it is around 25 C and not too darned high,even cool in the evening.

Ankara is hotter in afternoons,cooler in evening than it is in istanbul.

Generally it is usulally sunny in may .
Please tell us location for weather. Turkey is 814.578 km虏 .
Northeast part roads are closed because of avalanche (snow).
In southwest people are having sun bath and swiming at the sea.

The weather is just lovely in most parts of Turkey in May. Especially on the Aegean and Mediterranean coastlines. The temp. must be around 20-30. It will get hot in July and August, but not in May.
