Travel Info how much does it cost to call from turkey to america ?is it expensive? Travel Tips Actually, there is a great way to call from Turkey or from anywhere to the States, you can subscribe to Yahoo call service and get a $10 credit and call the USA for 垄1 maybe less so it makes great sense and as far as i remember there are some prepaid phone cards and u can buy i guess for 5 ytl and 10 ytl and for 5 ytl it was like 40 mins and for 10 ytl it was 80+ mins. and they r all sold in the newsagents , so u have two options, u can either buy on yahoo and talk longer or go to a newsagent and buy one of them and yeah i remember ,like morticia says they were alocard, universal card and what have you... Actually on Turkcell, calling the US and Canada is the same rate as calling within Turkey (4 kontor/0.23 YTL). I have no idea why, but I'm not complaining! American living in Turkey THERE ARE CARDS CALLED ALO CARD . 10 M陌NUTES 10 YTL . As another answer says Turkcell. Buy a Turkcell card from a local phone shop (providing your phone is unlocked) and for some reason it costs you next to nothing to call. If your card is registered in a foreign country ( as yours will be when in Turkey you pay at least twice as much for your call ) and don't forget, the receiver of your call pays for the incoming call on most occasions (texting is cheaper still) |
