Has anyone been to altinkum turkey?

this year i went to turkey for a holiday,and iv been to bodrum and marmaris.But when i went to didim altinkum it was totally a diffrent picture.the roads are in a right mess. and there there are old tatty buildings scattered around which makes the place look like an old shanty town.there is also alot of construction work going on.
but it was busy in july.i don't see what it is about the place that makes people go their for holidays or to even buy apartments. when you have better resorts like fethiye,side, bodrum and marmaris.

maybe it was the wrong time to visit,
i've been in didim,altinkum so many times and i really like there.it is a perfect place to spend your summer holiday.No wind,no wave just clear water,clean beach and brilliant sunshine. i thing you visited there in spring,march or in april so it's possible to see workers going around.But summer it's forbidden to construct buildings. Lots of tourists especially the british ones prefer didim.visit there once again in summer,i'm sure you will change your mind.
