Where do I get a Visa to travel in Turkey? |
Travel Info we are going to turkey. do I need a visa as well as a passport--if so where do I get a visa? Travel Tips Hi if you are just visiting there is no need for a visa from the originating country...your passport will be stamped accordingly when you state your reason for entering the country....enjoy your stay and be sure to carry plenty of bottled water...its quite warm nowadays...hope you enjoy all the great sites Turkey has to offer... Others I presume you come from the states. You can get it at the turkish airport at your arrival. Really easy. All other nationals should pay in USD or EUR Transit Required by all except: 1) Persons continuing their journey to a third country by the same or first connecting flight, providing they hold confirmed onward tickets and do not leave the airport upon entering turkey, u will have to show ur passport at the passport control desk at the airport. u pay them 拢10 and they will stamp your passport. this is your visa and it lasts for 90 days. if you want to stay longer than the 90 days all u have to do is go on a boat trip over to kos, rhodes or any greek island they offer excursions for and then pay another 拢10 on entering back into turkey. |
