Has anyone been to cappadocia in turkey? |
Travel Info Has anyone been to cappadocia in turkey? Travel Tips yessss last autumn time.. it was absolutely perfect...cappadocia is in Nev艧ehir.. You can fly to Istanbul and from Istanbul to Kayseri.. if you book your hotel before you get there, hotel service can pick you up from the Kayseri airport.. on the way to your hotel you see beautiful village and cave houses, hand made carpets.. look at the smile of the little happy village kids.. look at people eyes and see how pure they are.. it was a good experience for me to being there.. we stayed in hotel museum.. it was a cave hotel.. big rooms with fireplaces and big jakuzis... cappadocia is beautiful... we had balloon trip as well... had a chance to see all the mountains and "peri bacalar谋".. we also went to Ihlara Valley which was nice... cappadocia is the best place to learn history and geography.. people are very friendly.. You can visit "Peri Bacalar谋", "Ihlara Valley", "Underground Cities", and also do not forget to go to Star Wars mountain... :)) producers shot one of the star wars movies in Cappadocia... you won't be able to believe your eyes when you get there and see what nature can do and how strong it is..i say definitely go there.... wonderful experience...Yes, it's almost other worldly, the landscape is barren, the area is mostly a light tan color, there are "fairy chimneys" everywhere, these are living quarters from ancient times when the people carved the rooms out by hand, some of them have several floors, most have windows wirhout glass and chimney holes to let out the smoke. http://www.turkeyinphotos.com/gallery/ca... It's a small villiage that's been turned into a series of hotel suites....you have to see it to believe it. |
