I really want it but my parents don't go, so I can't too.

And of corz history is very important.I luv it.
I love history an' I visit historical places when I find the toyme. it depends me da's business though
certainly important.People dont prefer historical places bec. they think holiday's mean is sea or (like us) hometown.
Because SEEING the place without appropriate knowledge to go along is meaningless. See Ephesus, it's just stones. When you read books about ancient civilizations, it gets more meaningful. So, only people who are really interested in history, near or far, can appreciate historical places. The rest of the "cultural" tourism is just hype.
I love traveling to historical places and I wouldn't be wrong if I say I have seen all the historical sites and museums in Turkey.

Knowing the history and being at that location is one of the most exciting things for me.

i love to go these kind of places. for historical places, my favourites are Germany and Italy
and of course Turkey :)
