Do you think religion islam is corrupting us Turks? |
Travel Info I am not a fan of any religion To be fair, i already became dissillioned from all religious dogmas . And for me Islam is no worse than any other religion!. But As much as people may wish to believe the opposite, Turks are endorsed by islam. It is just a very different custom of different community to our culture. and its just another form of politics . And you can feel the threatening control of islam on our nation more these days. I mean we lost our identidy already and on the way of becoming arabs What is your opinion on this? Travel Tips It is. It is incompatible with turkish character. Can a person who prays for earthquakes to happen and kill his/her fellow countrymen be a good person? Also those who dance in the streets to celebrate the killing of thousand innocent civilians? And those who torture and kill those people in Malatya?? Thank them for showing the real evil face of islam. I am sorry, I can't see myself as a follower of a person who married a little child of age 9!!! Others Sure it's corrupting. All religion is negative and counter-democratic. Turkey is to be congratulated for it's secular constitution, and remarkable achievement of Atta Turk, and worth defending! Muslims to me think that theyre treated unfairly by the public and wants justice...i dont know... ^.^ I like Turkey's stance to be secular - it's good for the country and the people. Islam is currupting the whole western world in my opinion. Religion itself seperates people if you look at it with a fanatic way, like some ppl do in Turkey.. if i am getting bad looks coz of smoking, drinking alcohol or eating in the restaurant in ramadan time, if still the university students getting beaten up in the faculty cafeterias coz they're not fasting, and my answer is yes... yes its corrupting us... |
