when shopping and eating in alanya are the prices in turkish lira or in euros?

The prices are in Turkish lira but in the touristic restaurants and bars they will accept Euro, or US Dollars also.

The easiest way though is to convert some Euros to TL in and exchange office- which is plenty- and use TL in order not to have any confusion.

TL is the best choice but in most of the places they will accept euro
well, like in all touristy places, u can spend whatever u have, as long as u have dosh they will be glad to accept it. I mean, dollars, turkish lira-the new one, euros and pounds plus if you compare the prices with the other mediterrenean countries, u will see that they r more decent there in Turkey...If i were u , i would use turkish lira tho...Regards-

they accept both YTL and Euro and GBP:)
