How safe is for a Greek tourist to visit Turkey? |
Travel Info I don't mean to hold a Greek flag and walk down the center of Istanbul (!!!) but do average Turkish people get annoyed when you tell them you are from Greece? I would like to visit Istanbul and all the way down across the west coast for 3 weeks. My feedback from Greeks is that it's really fine. Travel Tips darling its safe, dont worry.... Others its nothing to worry about come and enjoy No, no..Here is safe for everyone..If u want, u can ask this to Leonarda too (she is Greek friend of us and she usually comes to Turkey. She says Turkey is safe.) I prefer greek tourists to most of the european tourists. They actually like to blend into the city population I suspect :) And they can do that because they are similar to us. I like them. Spartan: Its not true, you know that. Turkish military has plans of abolishing the aegean army since it is irrelevant today. Hey Frank, I am Greek and I have been several times in Istanbul and some other cities, I love it. Turkish people are very polite and the majority of them really like Greek tourists. Its really safe, dont worry. I personally prefer being in Turkey than in England for example with all those cold, pale , arrogant brits. At least most turkish men and women are hot.
