Travel Info heya.. thinking about going Turkey for the summer holiday.. where has everyone been.. what you think to it.. Iv been to Ichmeler and Olu Deniz.. want some atmosphere as in nightlife.. cheers x Travel Tips Bodrum....good nightlife and decent beaches too. Plus the airport transfer isn't that long. Others Hey I am going to Turkey this Summer aswell this is the first time we are going so I cant really help you. Single ladies in a turkish nightclub - the perfect recipe for disaster. ankara marmaris is really friendly if you there make sure you go on the dalyan trip you go to a turtle breeding ground then to the mud baths and you see temples carved in the mountains we go to kusadasi next week for 17 nights i cant wait i have to marmaris 7 times and i still love it and its cheap If you have been to Olu Deniz did you go to Hisaronu? I have a house in nearby Ovacik and love this area as you have the mountains, the nightlife and the beautiful beaches and lagoon. Marmaris is a bit like Blackpool with sun. Best for nightlife is Bodrum it has a fantastic out door nightclub Halicarnassus. My friend likes Gumbet as it has nice beaches and a bit quieter (but not much) than Bodrum. Really depends how much of a night life you're looking for... Marmaris - VERY englishified, Blackpool/Brighton with sun. Bodrum - More mellow than Marmaris but with a strip of restaurants/bars/nightclubs which get a bit swamped. Antalya - lovely place but not as lively as other places. The old town has a selection of bars. You'll see a lot more of the 'real' turkey here. |
