Travel Info Would you marry someone without your family's approval? Travel Tips depends if I really love the guy and my family's denial is nonsense than I would marry. Otherwise I try to convince my family to approve. Others When I married my husband my mother didn't like him. When she saw how happy I was with him and how well we are doing together she loved him. Now he is her favorite son in law.... my sister is also married. not right away, if you do that it will be a mess for everyone. take your time and get everyone together to spend some time together, once they get to know the other, they will love them like you do. Yes. yes, i would if the person is worth it. my family will eventually have to accept him. Yes of course I would. I have to be happy with the person I marry. I ,frankly, don't know. But if you are asking about the WISDOM of marrying someone without your family's approval, I would say it depends. To give two extreme examples, if the would be husband is a woman abuser, it is not wise to against your family's wishes. (And don't tell me noone would marry an abuser. Women make all kinds of excuses in the name of love... "that was a one time thing" "he promised not to do it again"...) Or, if your mother always dreamed of you marrying a businessman and you want to marry, say, a teacher, you must be the best judge of the situation, because your mother's excuse is a lousy one. |
