In Izmir, Turkey. It dates back from the 3rd Milenum BC. I was there 2 wks ago. It's the best perseved. ancient site in the world.

The city of Ephesus was a harbor city in it's time and was the point of departure for the famous royal highway that led through Sardis to Lydia.

You will see the ruins of a theater, Celsus library, the Hadrian gate, fountain of Trajan and much more.

Also next to Ephesus you will see the house of virgin Mary. Which is beleived to be the last home of her.
