How do I get from Bodrum to Santorini?

Take a ferry from Bodrum to Rodos and there is a direct ferry from Rodos to Santorini. That is the easiest way.

The other option is fly to Istanbul from Bodrum, then to Athens and take a ferry from there.. which is.. way too hard.

Depends on if you want to fly or sail ? There are boats to Greece but I don't believe they go to santorini directly I may be wrong but check it out in Bodrum. You won't be able to fly directly either, you'll be able to fly from Bodrum to Athens then onto Santorini both are fantastic spots.
I would suggest to take a boat. Since Santorini is an island, they may not have an airport.
