Can you see Istanbul and get to a good beach in 1 week? |
Travel Info I am planning a trip to Turkey in the summer. I will probably only have 7 days and will be flying to Istanbul. Is it possible to see the city AND get a few days at a good beach (where I can swim in the sea - that is the important bit!) without a domestic flight (too expensive) and preferably without an overnight bus/train? Travel Tips you can go to one of the islands in Istanbul like B眉y眉kada, heybeliada, K谋nal谋ada (is my favorite) they have lovely beaches and just a quick boat away... Others Yes it's possible.There are domestic flights.You can get the coast in less than 1 hour time. The only difficulty will be, you may not want to leave Istanbul after seeing the beauty. Enjoy your time here. OK do this: Stay in istanbul whole week long and go to the BURC Beach in Zekeriyak枚y. That way you will have both in 1 week. Yes and yes...except you may want to find a beach close to Istanbul, but not in Istanbul. When I went there, the closest beach was out of the city, because the sea in Istanbul is used as a dock and it has boats in it. no hsve bad time |
