Travel Info hi, im trying to plan a tri[p to turkey during the summer time in august and i was woundering what the best flight to go on and the cheapest. If it's the UK, you have to give 拢10 per person when you go through passport control. Make sure it is a 拢10 note, because they won't give you change. Best flight from where? And what nationality are you? Best time to go to Turkey is in spring and autumn, as Turkey in summer is extremely hot and crowded. Also prices for flights go up considerably during that time and are often booked out months in advance. (Seats on flights Germany-Turkey for July/August with Turkish Airlines usually are sold out in March.) Take Turkish airlines. It's much cheaper than the other airlines that come in to Turkey, and they offer great service. :-) www.thy.com cheapest is turkish airlines and the visa you get there on the airport,have fun in turkey and enjoy ..very beautyfull place :) From the U.S. you can take american arlines and turkish airlines, the hub is from chicago, jfk or miami. You can get the visa when you arrive to turkey, it was $20 when i went there 2 years ago. Go in the fall, like september or october. The weater is still nice, espically along the coast, and if you visit touristy places like Efes (which is really a great place by the way) it is not as crowded.
