How can you go to Sariyer from Taksim?

Get on the metro from Taksim Square. That is the first stop.
Get off at the last stop "4. Levent". Journey takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
Then go out of metro station. Be carefull and watch the directions.
(I get on metro almost everyday but can't remember what is written on the direction sign. But I guess that it was "Harp Akademileri") It should be the OPPOSITE side of Movenpick Hotel. You will obviously realize the Movenpick when you go there.
Then buy a bus ticket for yourself for 1.25 YTL and get on a bus. They are old red busses or new Green mercedes.
It should have Sar谋yer written on the bus. Possible route numbers for the busses.

Other option for traveling from 4.Levent to Sar谋yer is the Minibuses. They charge around 1.4 to 1.6 YTL and don't need any tickets.

But u can go there by taxi, bus etc. I think.

The #40 陌ETT bus starts in Sar谋yer and ends in Taksim. However, as it passes the Sahilyolu on the Bosphorus, I would suggest you take a dolmu艧 to 4.Levent and connect to the metro on the weekends, as the traffic is horrific.
I remember i went to Sariyer last january when i was in Istanbul.We went by bus from Cihangir..But it was a long distance...
