In Turkey, do they keep dogs under quarantine for 3 months? |
Travel Info i wanna take me dog wiv me when i come to Turkey (fetiye).. is there a rule 'bout quarantine for the pets 3 months? taaa Travel Tips hahaha you joking? they put dogs 2 back of a rubbish truck to get rid of them . Others yes its true no there is no rule like that in Turkey.. but i know in the uk if you're bringing a pet from abroad, that animal stays under quarantine in the shelter for any case of contagious diseases... vets watch it and if its fine after 3 months the pet gets to be released but take your dog to the vet b4 you come here... and get a certificate or something... just in case No but you will have to get some paperwork issued. for detailed legal information , check : http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:ve-... What kind of a dog do you have ? :) No.. just get paperwork from your vet with his or her ID card. The planes will let you and you will not have a problem.. I think they will quarantine you for 3 years, while the dog will be allowed!! I asked to a vet (a friend:) you need to have everything about your dog(certificate,vaccins,...) you should go to the veterinary of your dog just before you arrive to Turkey have your dog like examined or something and you should have an official letter from the vet saying that your dog doesn't have any diseases. |
