Whats good for avoiding mosquito bites? |
Travel Info Going to Turkey in a couple of weeks with my son (7yr),every year HE gets bitten by mosquito's (seem to leave me alone!)Tried various insect sprays and lotions but wondered if there's anything that Turkish people would recommend, that i could buy over there? Travel Tips Dear Martha, Truly the best product is Areoguard Tropical, believe me I live in a tropical climate and there are mossies the size of small dogs but they all stay away using Areoguard Tropical strength for about 4 hours you need to re - apply. I don't know whether or not you can find that product in Turkey but I always take a couple of cans before I go to Turkey. http://www.seton.net.au/search.cfm?by=pr... Other Travel Tips ummmm i was at Turkey and when i first made it there i slept for one night and it looked like i had chicken pox there are soooo many mosquitoes well any ways there is this one thing that its like a circle oval like shape and its green you burn the beginning part and it has this smell that kills them and basically its like smoke u put it in your room the whole night it works great but you should always get sprays and lotion just in case hope i helped!!!!!!!!! stay indoors basically Firstly ask your doctor for malaria tablets or a injection. I would say injection for that age. I would also reccomend a mosquito killer, it just puts something in your room with no smell and you get a very well sleep. Use bug repellent. Try not to over do it because most of the commerical stuff isint good for you. Try to go organic if you can. Wear long clothing. cover everything you can. there is a product called AUTAN, the best way to use it is to make sure that everyone in your group wears it, don't put it on yourself, or your son. mosquito's love it! have a good holiday. |
