Do you have any stereotypes about Turkey? |
Travel Info If you do,whats makes you have it? Just foreign people/tourist. PS If you don't any answers but cook or bird jokes,you're a very simple person. Travel Tips Ansolutly not. Most people place labels, easy to read, on people, countries, cultures etc, just to avoid the effort to get to know things in depth. Thus, accodring to the current opinion of the majority of them, Greece is souvlaki and marble statues, Italy is pasta and canals, Turkey is kebab and belly dance. Being both a collector and a lover of history and art, I got to know that Turkey has a superb level of culture: music, fine arts, literature and poetry, magnificent traditional articrafts, and warm and kind people, with a unique sense for friendship. As for the stereotypes, I leave them to the groups of organized cheap tourism and to those who insist on remaining ignorant... Others thinking i am kurdish. the turkeys(get it,,,,, turkeys) need to get out of my native land kurdistan,iraq. Or we kurds will eat the turkeys. HAHAHAHA |
