Travel Info good hotel ?how far from sea front?day trip to kos how much? Travel Tips For me Turgutreis is the best in Bodrum. I recommand youto go no matter what. Others First of all, I'm going to Bodrum today and Bodrum is definetely good place for holiday..Also I have been to Turgutreis before and the sea was nice ;-) But I don't know about hotels, money etc. because we have a summerhouse in Bodrum. I stayed at the Sar Beach Hotel in Turguties, it was fine, Turgutries is right on the sea front, Bodrom is 10 minutes away by dollmos, thats a small bus they are all over the place and very cheap! Bodrom is a very busy place with loads to do, you can visit Bodrom Castle its cool, loads of markets, stay away from the Star pub in Turguties, we got poisoned drinking their Beer, its owned by a welsh couple a right pair of rip off merchants, when we came to pay our bill at the end of one evening it came to 3 times as much as it should have been, fu**ing bandits, have a good holiday its a good place to go, whoopah. I like Turgutreis . Nice holiday. Well Bodrum is one of the best places on earth. Turgut Reis is great. Not only i say that. I have a lot of friends who came from other countries to visit Bodrum and they fell in love. I don't know anything about the hotels in Turgut Reis because i always stayed in Turkbuku,Bodrum. Bodrum Castle, Underwater Museum, are must sees, ONE OF THE SEVEN WONDERS of the world is there. Mosaleum. But in Bodrum everywhere you look is history:) You can go inside Bodrum to have fun,buy local stuff and great nite life. You can visit Gumusluk to eat fish and sea foods. There is a place called Rabbit Island( Tavsan adasi) there is an ancient city under the sea. Turgut Reis sea is great. Turkbuku is very beautiful with a great nite life,wonderful hand made jewelry shops, beautiful beach clubs and different types of restaurants.(from a small durum(wrap with meat) shop to luxurious fish restaurant) Have a great holiday my friend. Let me translate some: 2.5 km to city center (Turgutreis) 20 km to Bodrum 52 km to Bodrum airport 250 m to the beach Bodrum is one of the best holiday destinations in Turkey. It has nice beaches and a great night life. Day trip to Kos is 35 EU http://www.olymposyachting.com/tr/feribo... Bodrum is fab. Turgutries market is fab for bargains be prepared to haggle! Make sure you take the time to travel to different resorts around the peninsular. Yalikavak is lovely especially if you get there for the sun setting, make sure you take a camera. Try the Windmill restaurant right on the water front, excellent meal and service. Bitez is great for the beach. All are just a short and cheap dolmus ride away. Enjoy |
