Gazi is a Turkish word, it means a victorious fighter for the Islamic faith or a title given to a victorious Muslim military leader: Osman Gazi, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pa艧a i.e. Atat眉rk.

Gazi means a veteran in turkish. You might have to be wounded in order to be a gazi but I'm not sure.
Aye, it is a title given to someone who's been injured at war and survived.
