Nisantasi: all the shops of anything that you want (european site) outside
Kanyon Shopping : All the brands (Turkish,foreigner..)
It is like a mall but it isn't :) it has the shape of a canyon (european side)
Ortakoy: Jewelry, local nice small shops and the place is good for touristic visits Dolmabahce Palace is not far, Yildiz Palace, Ciragan Palace are just close to this place
(European side)
Grand Bazaar : Touristic place and you can find traditional objects inside
Hagia Sophia,Topkapi Palace are not far from Grand Bazaar
(European Side)

Ok now the Asian side:
Kadikoy,Moda: Great small shops and street sellers jewelry silver and handmade
You should absolutely eat the wonderful ice cream of Ali Baba ice Cream Shop

Bagdat Caddesi and Sahil Yolu : both shopping of all brands and walk along the sea

Must buy Turkish brands: You know we are the most important country of Europe for textile.
Mavi Jeans: I highly recommend their jeans and t-shirts
Cotton: Great t-shirts
Papatya: great underwear

You must see Aghia Sophia, the Blue Mosque. As for shopping I don't know, but one thing I DO know.....Istanbul (Constantinople) is the most beautiful city in the world!!!! Have a great time.
You can have good shoppings at the covered bazaar in Eminonu. There you can find a good varieties of different products. You must visit the Prices' islands, Camlica Hills, Istiklal Street in Beyoglu off Taksim square, Ortakoy, the district of Levent, Topkapi palace, Dolmabahce palace, Sultan Ahmet mosque, Aya Sofya museum and don't forget to eat fish, mediye tava, d枚ner kebap and kokore莽.
WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME I WOULD GO FLORIDA INSTEAD
I don't think istanbul is that pretty...very very smoggy.. We have been here five days...left from california. The people are very nice and I love their religion!
Everyone told me to go to the bazaar..what a waste..I would check it out..but as far as being cheap.. Ha!
Although..I am going to check the other places that are listed here for shopping...
The mosque are amazing... a must see.. sophia and the blue mosque for sure.. Sophia charges 5 dollars.
Taxim is fun too! Its a good night life place.. lots of turkish music and beautiful people..
