Travel Info Why do you think that a tourist should visit Turkey? Travel Tips First and foremost, the history of Turkey is amazing. Istanbul is a fascinating city, and the entire coastal region is beautiful! Sometimes when I looked out at the balcony of my hotel with a cup of coffee in my hand, I asked myself if life could get much better than this. I've been there three times and Ankara has great museums. I love the hospitality accorded to me and the food was really great. It was the first time, ok, no the second time that I felt sad about returning home after being in a foregin country. and I was really sad for weeks afterward thinking that I missed the people I met plus the food I ate. Oh the lacmachuns, kebaps most especially. Turkish restaurants was the first thing on my mind when I got back home, I had to ask the Turkish embassy in the Philippines for their addresses. It wasn't the same, the food was awful and so sub-par. Nothing like being there... Others Because every country is very unique, and it's great to have different experiences. They should visit turkey because they can get a free turkey sandwich lol ! rofl Most people come there for the sea and the historical sites that Turkey has to offer. :-) A simple answer, it is a beautiful and unique country and the people are friendly. yes this is the reason http://www.alpalper.com/kitap/kitap.html... :) Ps. I still have been only in ist but I hope soon I ll be able to travel across Turkey! Incredible food, culture, Amazing historic sights. The wonderful people, the beautiful scenery. Of all the places I've visited I have to say that Turkey has been the best place so far. |
