Travel Tips There are some professions in Turkey that are protected for Turkish citizens. Hairdressing is one of them. Not only will there be a potential language barrier (going to the salon is a pastime for Turks), you won't be able to get a license. You might be able to do nails or work as a trainer for hairstylists, language skills permitting. The spa at my health club employs a lot of South-east Asians. They might not be hiring, but who knows?
