Will i be seen as a tourist or blend in? |
Travel Info i am pakistani/indian, if i went to turkey will i be treated as a tourist or will i blend in?, i know this sounds like a silly question but i have fair skin and dark hair like turks will they be able to distinguish? Travel Tips Well you might blend in when it comes to looks but with your accent that will give it away. But the Turks are VERY friendly people no matter where you're from. And I am VERY sure you will be treated very well... With all but ONE thing....the shopkeepers. The often will try to rip you off, or, for example, you went into a shop and something cost around 50 lira then he will tell you maybe 120 lira and he will 'bargin' with you but sitll you probably will pay more than the 50 lira it originally cost. But when it comes to looks most likely not. And even then...being treated as a tourist isn't a bad thing...the hospitality is amazing. Good luck and enjoy! But I think it isn't very important. I'm sure that they will be friendly to u ;-) You'll be treated pretty good if you're a tourist, enjoy and have fun.
