Has anyone been to Turkey? |
Travel Info I have booked a trip to Dalyan in Turkey for me and my g/f for our 1st holiday! Has anyone else been there, if so what is it like and is there enough there to keep us occupied for 10 days? We are going in the beginning of July! Travel Tips Good choice. Have a nice holiday. AND forget about Dalyan being a great place for a holiday. It will be your first holiday with your girlfriend. I am sure anywhere would look like a heaven. You lucky guys, enjoy it. Others Watch out for the Turkish fellers they just love British guys. Not been to Daylan, but I've been to Istanbul, and its pretty nice there. Iv been to Turkey a few times.. (icmeler, Olu Deniz and Fethiya) and its really really nice.. it depends what you want from a holiday.. theres sea and sand.. and LOTS n LOTs of markets which are full of crap.. but needs to be done lol.. I havent been to Daylan but there is also loads of Boat trips which are amazing.. which will be wround everywhere.. Also have your Paragliding on the Beaches.. which is wkd!! A MUST def!! The night life is really good aswell. the Turkish nights.. the bars are the DON... The people are also really really nice.. sometimes abit to nice.. Lol.. Or youve got all the culture bits n bobs.. which im not that interested in.. but theres Loads of history n bits to go and see... well it is a little bit interesting but would rather go to a bar and drink cocktails.. there REALLY nice!! All beautiful places. The people are extremely friendly and welcoming and their is tons of stuff to do from scuba diving to para-gliding. Historical sites and loads of very cheap shopping. Eating out is really cheap and the food is brilliant. Have a good time. |
