Travel Info Is Turkey arguing with other nations about water? Travel Tips Oh come on...Nobody accused Turkey!She just asked a question!Thumbs up for ErAs! (I have also heard that in the past there was a problem about some dams Turkey built,avoiding the water reaching Syria...) Others Perhaps others may be gobbling it all up ! I don't know why you ask this question... It seems that you mean that Turkey is guilty... Turkey is not arguing, don't think so ! The water problem exists only at the south border, ( with Greece,Bulgaria,Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, there is no water problem, because these countries have enough water) We know that there is a lack of water in Syria,Irak,Iran,Lebanon,Israel... Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the emirates. And we know that Turkey has a great chance to own so much water, and the sources of the Tiger and the Euphrat are in Turkish lands... But Turkey doesn't want to make pressure against other countries concerning water... Turkey wants peace with everyone... And Turkey is also an important friend of Israel, that's why they have so tight relationship about defense and water sectors (although it's a muslim country) Turkey has no problem, Turkey wants to help everybody. But other countries have to respect countries, and these countries should all fight against terrorism. If a country permits terrorism against Turkey, if a country begins to act like a threat against us, then it would be quite normal and logical to discuss about vital ressources... But don't think we are like Russia ! Russians have began to sell oil and gas much more expensive to Ukraine and caucasian republics, and that's unfair...We won't act like them... We have a great sense of honour , of loyalty, of justice... So, please, don't accuse my country... in the past, yes.. turkiye had problems with Syria because of water... noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!... turkey is arguing with its neighbors about everything yes ,of course. Its clear.also about Oil.... |
