Travel Info If you live out of Turkey, or if you travel a lot in other countries, especially if you don't really look like a Turk ( or like the Europeans think we should be...) Have you noticed some strange things, such like racism and prejudices, such like a different attitude towards you ?... Sometimes these kind of situations can be quite funny, but sometimes they can be also very awkward... For example,in my job, I had a customer with whom I had an appointment in his house ( I am sales executive in a insurance company), in Paris . He was French, but originally Armenian, and he thought I was Jew ( my name exists in different countries, but I am really Turk and Muslim). We talked about everything, ,and he started to talk about the so-called genocide... For me it was a real embarassing situation, because he was telling me how much he hates Turks...And I did'nt say him who I was really... And I also live situations with racist frenchs... And you ?
