I'm going in May to Marmaris for my 7th visit.
It is a very lively big resort with lots of things to do like trips etc (I highly recommend jeep safari and a boat trip at least).
There are plenty of bars/clubs located mainly on bar street near the harbour or on the beach front at the opposite end to the harbour. The beach isn't the best, go to icmeler on a dolmus (mini bus) if you like beaches, its only 5min away and will cost about 70p.

Check your hotel out at holidays uncovered, remember there'll usually be good and bad about most places and you'll make your own mind up but it'll give you an idea of what to expect. Many people write about the resort too. Also look at trip advisor marmaris forums. there's loads of research you can do.

If you like English resorts you'll love it English bars,English breakfasts you might even see the odd Turk.

yeh marmaris is a fab place fore a holiday.the sea is blue and theres plenty to do.marmaris has the best nightclubs and bars around.ask someone where bar street is.you will love the night out there.the people are very friendly.the wednesday market is massive.you can buy designer clothes which are fake but good quality and cheap.the food is nice but expensive.all around you will love it there.
