My partner and I who are going to Antalya in April for a short holiday, what's it like, is it expensive there |
Travel Info Can someone givre us an idea on prices for a meal for two with a few drinks, how about takeaway prices, are there nice beaches and sights worth seeing. What about the night life. I have been told that some of the men there are a real pain and come on to women constanly not being able to take no for an answer, is this true? Is the place generally safe? Are there other resorts etc near by that you can go to by local transport? Is it a genrally freindly place to go and lastly whats the weather like in mid April. Travel Tips Generally its safe and quite good place. I ve been there only ones, most time we are going through Antalia, our friends have property in Kas( sounds like cash) (3 hours from Antalia). The night life is busy, meals not so expensive,just some people so bloody importunate.So better way just politely pass the wrong situation. Do you know that 4 of 7 world miracles are located in Turkey? Some of them not so far from Antalia. Try to go to the Kas, its a nice small fishing village with couple of resorts and many pansions( small and cheap hotels) and good English and German community. Have nice holiday. cheap is a relative answer.so is expensive.therefore I will tell you a comparision.Eating places,if meat restorant ,it will cost you one forth of the price compared to any london restaurant with sometimes better view and taste incl beer. man can be sticky depending on where you are.in discos yes.but if you are with your boyfriend again NO by all means I don't find antalya expensive in fact I find it much cheaper than spain.Especially accomodation. local transfort is exteremly cheap.even the taxis.except for tranport from airport to city.but you have alternative bus transport . definately safe.10 mm tourist every year.and night life ends 6 in the morning enjoy Turkey, it's been a pleasure to visit year after year for me.Have a look on the website.gototurkey.co.uk.
