Can I get a ferry from Istanbul to Gallipoli? |
Travel Info I am staying in Istanbul. Do ferry's run from Istanbul as far as Gallipoli? As I will be staying in Cannakkle I would like to travel other than bus or train. Thanks. Travel Tips Not as far as I know. I've searched the web for you (!!!) and come up with a blank. I've done the journey by bus and it was quite painless, why are you anti bus travel? Turkish buses are generally good, comfortable and, compared to UK ones, luxurious. My only advice is to avoid Hakkiki Koc company - when I went from Istanbul to Cannakale with them, it took a lot longer than they said, and, as a result, I missed the ferry to gokceada. Prior and subsequently to that I have had many successful journeys on buses and trains in Turkey.
