Others I can tell you the best time is to visit is during dec or jan in the winter time. right now till july it is too hot. It s a lovely city, ive been there alot, shopping there isnt like any other place, but unfortunatly its very expensive, specially transportation and accomodation, the last time i was there(a year ago) the minimum taxi fare starts from 6 dhs, and renting a one bedroom apartment was around 4-6 thousand dhs a month! other than that, it was great! Living in DXB is very expensive but oherwise it is a lovely city at par with any western capital. Go there after summers, stay for a short duration with a relative/friend if possible. DEL to DXB cheapest airline is Mahan Air ( via Tehran ).
