Are single women under 31 barred from entry to UAE ?? |
Travel Info I seem to remember reading this due to some problem with the number of prostitutes that were coming in from Russia and eastern Europe, but maybe my information is incorrect ?? Travel Tips If I remember right, this visa regulation still existed around 4-5 years ago. It stated, that single women from the former UDSSR and East Europe age under 30 years were not able to obtain a visit visa to the UAE. Earlier it was not possible for any single woman (no matter what nationality) to obtain a visa for the UAE. These visa restrictions do not exist anymore. Take care. Visa denied. Other Travel Tips Coming to work and coming to visit are two different things. Maybe you heard that Filipono women coming to work here have to be over 25 years of age. This is a new rule. Things change rapidly here so I suggest you look up www.dubaicityguide.com for the most current information. Single women under 31 can come into Dubai for work purposes. As you tend to be on company sponsorship a company would be very limited (especially Emirates Airline) as to the female staff employable. It only happens occasionally now that a visa will not be granted due to age or nationality. Our company has recently sponsored 4 women under the age of 31 from countries mentioned in previous posts with out any issues. If the documentation is correct there should be no problems with sponsorship. |
