If you are planning to go to Dubai on a visit visa to hunt for a civil job, then my sincere advice to you is ..DON'T GO !!! Try Saudi Arabia instead, and that also on a Job Visa, pre-arranged by an Agent. This is the safest way, in my opinion... Actually it depends on your country of origin and of course the company that you will work for. In Dubai I think you can expect around 16.000 Dirhams, if from Europe and have 3+ years of experience, but you negotiate of course. I also think that Salary package is a correct expression.
