How do I get a security job overseas, like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia etc.? |
Travel Info I was in the Army for 3 years. Served a tour in Iraq "1 year". I am interested in getting a security job in the middle east. Not Iraq. I don't have a death wish. I've been there and done that. I don't want to go back. When I was in kuwait I saw some civilian contractors there and I was intruiged by their jobs and from what I hear they make good money. I think you will find that most security work, if not done for the US gov't, is very low paid in the Middle East. Most security guards, even supervisors, are filled with Nepalese, Indians, Pakistanis and other underpaid nationals. They make about US 250 per month and work often 6-7 days per week and 12 hours per day. Many are required to speak Arabic.
